Cell referencing in Excel refers to the method of identifying and using specific cells or ranges of cells within a worksheet in formulas and functions to perform calculations or retrieve data. There are three types of Cell Referencing in Excel: Relative Reference Absolute Reference Mix Reference Relative Reference : A relative reference is a way of referring to a cell in a formula, where the reference changes when you copy the formula to other cells.
